The President met with his senior staff for his morning national intelligence and security briefings. Following these meetings, the President had his morning meeting with Chief of Staff John Sununu and telephoned Turkish President Turgat Ozal. He then met with Antonios Samaras, Foreign Minister of Greece. Later in the morning, he traveled to Capitol Hill where he attended the 50th anniversary of President Franklin D. Roosevelt's Four Freedoms Speech. He also met with Congressional leadership including Senator Robert Dole and Congressman Bob Michel. In the evening, the President dined with the Reverend Billy Graham.
