II. BACKGROUND:
A. VIDEO MESSAGE FOR THE NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE ALUMNI
PLAYER OF THE YEAR AWARD: In your brief remarks, you will
accept the "NFL Alumni Old Hero Award" for yourself and Mrs.
Bush. You are both being honored at a dinner along with the
"NFL Alumni Player of the Year". The dinner is to benefit
the Covenant House New Orleans, a shelter for young
recovering drug abusers.
B. VIDEO MESSAGE FOR JOBS FOR AMERICA'S GRADUATES:
You will be updating your message from 1983 as Vice-
President for JAG, a school-to-work transition program
for at-risk youth. You will congratulate the leaders
and participants of JAG on the outstanding work they
have done to help at-risk youth and encourage schools
and communities to get involved in the JAG program.
C. VIDEO MESSAGE ON VOLUNTEERISM FOR CECIL
PRODUCTIONS: Your message to encourage volunteerism
will be shown on 39 regional television stations as
part of a campaign called "Volunteers for America".
Your comments will play prior to local reports on
volunteerism success stories. This message will also
be used to fulfill some of the many requests for
volunteerism messages you receive from television
stations too small to justify an individual message
from you.

enforcement agency heads convene at a luncheon, hosted by
the Attorney General, roughly once a month to discuss
matters of mutual concern. Attendance is restricted to
principals only.
Possible topics of conversation for this meeting include the
second National Drug Control Strategy and your Crime
legislation, which Congress is expected to take up upon
their return.

I. PURPOSE
To meet with representatives of the University of Houston
and Rice University. Both schools will propose location of
the Bush Presidential Library in Houston.
II. BACKGROUND
This is the first of two private meetings in which you will
hear proposals for the location of your library. The second
will occur the following day with representatives of Texas
A&M.
Both UH and Rice requested a joint meeting to stress their
feeling that your library should be located in Houston. Rod
Canion, the CEO of Compaq Computer, is working with them on
a unique document retrieval system to enhance research at
the facility.

AND IT'S A MARVEL THAT SHE HAS ANY, BARBARA WORKS TO
