FORD: Event: Reception and tour for the General Federation of Women's Clubs' Board of Directors Date/Time: Tuesday, September 17, 1974 2:00 p.m. Reception 3:00 p.m. Tour Place: Grand Hall and Blue Room Number of Attendees: 180 ladies Principal: Mrs. Carroll E. Miller (Mary Katharine) President Schedule of Events: 2:00 p.m. The ladies will arrive through the Diplomatic Reception Room and will be escorted to the Grand Hall where refreshments will be served. After all of the ladies have arrived, Lucy Winchester will escort you to the west wall of the Blue Room where you will greet Mrs. Miller. She will present you with a paperweight that is embossed with the crest of the General Federation of Women's Clubs. 2:45 p.m. Lucy Winchester will escort you to the Family Quarters and the ladies will be taken on a tour of the White House. NOTES: There will be press coverage. A White House photographer will be present. A string ensemble will be positioned in the Grand Hall (near the Grand Staircase). page 2. R. BERALD FORD LIBRARY The annual Board Meeting is being held in Washington from September 15 through September 18, 1974. This group includes the 150 principal officers from the General Federation of Women's Clubs throughout the United States.
