of the Liaison Office of the People's Republic of China

TIME:
4:00 p.m.
PLACE:
West Hall Residence
GUESTS:
Madame Huang Chen (should be addressed as "Madame Huang",
pronounced: HWANG) wife of the Cheif of the Liaison
Office of the People's Republic of China.
Miss Shen Jo-yun (should be addressed as "Miss Shen",
pronounced* SHEN) Madame Huang's interpretor.
SEQUENCE:
3:57 pm The Usher's Office will call immediately when Madame Huang
and Miss Shen have arrived at the South West Gate in order
that Mrs. Ford may be downstairs at the Diplomatic Reception
Room to greet them as they arrive.
4:00 pm Mrs. Ford greets Madame Huang at the South Portico at her
car as soon as it stops (NOTE: Press photo opportunity).
4:01 pm Mrs. Ford escorts Madame Huang into the Residence and up
to the West Hall, Second Floor.
-Simple refreshments will be served.
4:25 pm Susan Porter will return at the conclusion of Mrs. Ford's
appointment with Madame Huang and escort them back to
their car at the South Portico.
