THE WHITE HOUSE WASHINGTON January 6, 1975 Dear Mrs. Ford, Per our conversation earlier today, I have the following information about the names you gave me to check on as to whether or not they have been invited to the White House since August: Congressman Lindy Boggs - Congressional Ball December 17, 1974 (A) Nancy Hanks - None John Warner - None Perkins McGuire - None Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Rudd - None Clifton Daniel - Press Christmas Party December 19, 1974 (R) Thank you. Nancy L. FORD BENALD LIBRARY THE WHITE HOUSE WASHINGTON January 7, 1975 Dear Mrs. Ford, I have checked into why Warner VonBraun was not on the German guest list and I have been given the following information by the German desk at State Department: 1. Mr. VonBraun was on the guest list for the most recent German State visit which was May 17, 1973 when Brandt was given a State Dinner. 2. Mr. VonBraun is now retired from NASA; therefore, he would not come under the government category -- he is now a consultant for a private firm which does not deal with Germany. Also, Mary Lou and Sonny Whitney have not been invited to the White House during the Ford Administration. Thank you. Nancy L.
