MR. SPEAKER -
On Saturday, April 21, 1951 burial services for Senator
Arthur H. Vandenberg were held in his home town, Grand Rapids, Michigan.
His loss will be keenly felt. For posterity I deem it appropriate to
include in my remarks editorials from the Grand Rapids Herald, the Grand
Rapide Press, the Grand Haven Daily Tribune and the Holland Evening
Sentinel.
