INFORMATION BULLETIN
1. Accommodations - Governors and their Staffs will stay at the Palm Springs
Canyon Hotel - telephone (714) 327-1181 (to the extent that accommodations
are available -- a few staff members may be housed at the Palm Springs Spa
Hotel.) Most News media personnel and guests will stay at the Palm Springs
Spa Hotel where all business sessions and news conferences will be held -
telephone (714) 325-1461. Personnel traveling with Mr. Nixon will stay
at the Holiday Riviera Hotel - telephone (714) 327-8311.
2. State Dinner - Because of limited facilities, new media personnel will have
a reception and buffet at the Spa, but will be given transportation to the
State Dinner in time for the remarks of Mr. Nixon and for the entertainment.
Admission for newsmen will be by ticket only, after 8:30 p.m.
3. Attire - - Attire for the State Dinner will be black tie. For Governor and
Mrs. Winthrop Rockefeller's dinner, casual clothes sport shirts and slacks -
are suggested. The nights are quite cool, and coats or sweaters are recom-
mended.
4. News Facilities - The facilities for the news media covering the whole
conference will be at the Spa. Separate news facilities will be set up
at the Riviera for members of the news media traveling with President-elect
Nixon.
