SUBJECT:
Presidential Meeting and Dinner for
Canadian Prime Minister
To confirm our telephone notification, the President has agreed to
meet with Prime Minister Trudeau on June 16 for a 60-minute office
meeting and host a small, stag working dinner. The meeting will be
at 5:30 PM and the dinner will be at 7 PM. Please confirm acceptance
and provide a briefing memerandum and suggested guest list for no
more than 10 invitees to include the President and Prime Minister.
We would like to have the proposed guest list by 12 Noon tomorrow
or sconer, if possible. The briefing memo will have to be here 72
hours in advance of their meeting.
The Prime Minister should arrive via the Southwest Gate, unless other-
wise directed.
