    "ocrText": "Dorothy\nCALLS MADE FRIDAY, MAY 14\nMrs. Harold Phelps. They are already working hard phoning their\nfriends, etc. They will certainly continue to do all they can.\nMr. Neil Weathers. They are all concerned about what has been\nhappening lately. You have four votes in their household, and\nthey will tell all their neighbors they have to vote on Tuesday.\nThey hope to catch a glimpse of you and Mrs. Ford in church\non Sunday. They are members of the same church.\nHarold Wilmarth. John Baxter already had contacted him about being\nsure to get the \"chain of ten\" moving. He and his wife have been\nhard at work and they will definitely continue. He very much\nappreciated my call. (Note: No one here called Mr. Baxter--that\nmeans that someone else contacted him and he is now working on\nhis own list!)\nMrs. Carl Gill (he is with the 40 & 8 club) They definitely will\nbe glad to help. He has already talked to several of their\nfriends, and they will certainly continue.\nMrs. Rudel Miller (he is with the Michigan Sport Sages) . They will\nbe out of town on Tuesday so I told them how to go about\netting\ntheir absentee ballots. She said they would try. She said they\nwould also talk to their friends to urge them to vote.\nJames Trimpe. He will certainly be glad to talk to some of their\nfriends to urge them to vote. He was glad I called. (From 30-30\nClub)\nMrs. Burgess Wisner. Their whole family is out working. They\nare checking with older people to be sure they have their absentee\nballots, their son and daughter are busy at work at their\nrespective schools. She is out contacting friends, and he is\ntalking to all the people at his plant. Very encouraging report.\nJohn Heinzelman. They already have been working on it. He is doing\nsome \"one man campaigning\" on his own and is contacting all his\nfriends. They are rounding up all the members of the 30-30 Club\nso they can meet you at the plane tomorrow. He emphasized that\nhe will do everything possible to help you.\nSue Hanson (Harold Heller's secretary) He was out of town on\nbusiness, but Sue said she will pass along my message. She also\nsaid that she would contact her friends to be sure they get out\nto vote.\nJames Klynstra, Jr. (Kent Optimist Club) He will be more than\nFORD\nto help.\nthe\nCall received: Portage Central High School band has been in town\nsince Tuesday. Called to say they support you and wish you the\nbest!"
