president, wielding a fat yellow ball pen, was chatting with ash and
others. then he asked pool whether we going to n.y. with him. he looked
sort of disappointed when we said we couldn't make it.
he turned to scoweroft and said: "did henry get off all right?"
SCOW: "yes, sir. a little late, but he always is."
pres: nothing going on tonight, is there?
acow: no sir.
