The President departs AAFB for Jacksonville NAS
10:30 a.m.
Press plane arrives Jacksonville NAS
11:15 a.m.
Air Force One arrives Jacksonville NAS
11:25 a.m.
The President leaves (by motor launch) for Epping Forest
12:00 p.m.
The President and President Sadat begin working luncheon
(approx.)
at Roy Mason residence in Epping Forest.
2:00 p.m.
The President motorcades to a nearby home.
(approx.)
2:45 p.m.
The President is interviewed by Florida T. V. reporters
4:00 p.m.
The President and President Sadat meet at the President's
house.
5:30 p.m.
The head-to-head meeting ends.
7:30 p.m.
The President arrives at the San Jose Country Club.
8:00 p.m.
The President and President Sadat attend a dinner hosted
Governor Askew of Florida at the San Jose Country Club.
9:30 p.m.
The dinner concludes. It is expected that Governor Askew
will have a toast, but neither the President nor President
Sadat is expected to speak.
9:50 p.m.
President Sadat; then President Ford depart the San Jose
Country Club
10:15 p.m.
The President boards Air Force One
11:50 p.m.
The President arrives Andrews AFB
12:10 a.m.
The President arrives South Lawn.
12:40 a.m.
The Press plan arrives AAFB.
NOTE: Most events will have pool coverage only. The press filing area will be
at the Deerwood Country Club, some 10 miles from Jacksonville, but close
to be residence where the President will stay. There will be a press
area at the San Jose Country Club, but we are advised that filing facilities
are very limited.
