[11-12-75] Pool Report -- Washington to Charleston, W. Va. Air Force one took off at 5:30 precisely. On board k with the President: Robert Orben, Bill Greener, Jack Caulkins, Richard K Cheney. Your poolers were advised that the fee to attend tonight's reception is $1,000 per couple (two people for one thousand), and a total of 250 was expected to attend. Greener said there was also an alternate plan. You can attend the reception for $500 a couple if you have previously joined the "Executive Club", which requires a membership fee of $500. Tonight's dinner is $100 a plate, and the sponsors confidently expect attendance of 1500. The menu: Tomato juice, Caesar salad, Cornish hen, with dressing, wild rice, buttered peas, spiced apple rings, whipped cream and mixed fruits; coffee, tea and wine.
