TRIP OF THE PRESIDENT TO
THE PACIFIC BASIN
PRESS POOLS FOR
THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA
DECEMBER 1, 1975
PRESS POOLS #1, #2, #3 - Peking Airport. Pools #1, #2, and #3 depart
Peking Duck Restaurant at the conclusion of lunch at approximately
1:00 p.m. Each pool will pre-position at the following designated
locations: Pool #1 at the base of the front steps to Air Force One;
Pool #2 behind the military band, and Pool #3 in front of the Chinese
Officials and the Diplomatic Corps representatives. Pool members must
remain in one location during the arrival ceremony.

Return to Min Zu Press Center with Press Pool #5 at conclusion of Guest
House coverage.
Press Pool #4 must be pre-positioned before the arrival ceremony at
camera platform #2 and will board the pool vehicle in the motorcade
from camera platform #2.

Center at 3:00 p.m. to pre-position at Presidential Residence, Guest
House #18. Pool #5 will cover the arrival at Guest House #18 and the
informal visit of the President and Mrs. Ford with Vice Premier
Teng Hsiao-Ping in the sitting room. Pool #5 will then return to the
Min zu Hotel.
