NOTICE TO THE PRESS
The following information has been released by the V hite House Press Office
in Washington:
The President has signed S. J. Res. 184. - to make amendments to the Regional
Rail Reorganization Act relating to the issuance and distribution of stocks by
the Consolidated Rail Corporation, its state of incorporation and the avail-
ability of employee protection benefits.
The President has signed S. 1545 Peanut allotment transfers. This bill
provides for the transfer of peanut allotments in the event of a natural disaster.
The President has signed H. R. 4034 the Jerry L. Pettis Memorial - designating
a new Veterans Administration hospital in Loma Linda, California, as the
Jerry L. Pettis Memorial Hospital and to authorize the Veterans Administration
to provide a suitable memorial.
The President has signed an amendment to the original declaration disaster
for the state of Michigan of March 19, 1976, to include damage caused by
tornadoes which o ccurred on March 20, 1976.
