Ford Presidential Library May 27, 1976 Office of the White House Press Secretary NOTICE TO THE PRESS The President today announced his intention to nominate George Houser, Jr., of Cheyenne, Wyoming, to be United States Marshal for the District of Wyoming for a term of four years. He will succeed Charles R. Wilcox who resigned effective January 31, 1976. Mr. Houser has been serving as the Court Appointed U.S. Marshal since March 1, 1976.
