NOTICE TO THE PRESS
The President today announced his intention to nominate John H. Moore, II,
of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, to be United States District Judge for the Southern
District of Florida. He will succeed Peter T. Fay.
Judge Moore has been serving as a Judge of the Seventeenth Judicial
Circuit of Florida since December 1967.
A biographical sketch is attached.
