HOLD FOR RELEASE UNTIL DELIVERED TO THE SENATE
OFFICE OF THE WHITE HOUSE PRESS SECRETARY
THE WHITE HOUSE
NOMINATIONS SENT TO THE SENATE ON SEPTEMBER 16, 1976:
William D. Rogers, of Virginia, to be United States Alternate
Governor of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development
for a term of five years; United States Alternate Governor of the
Inter-American Development Bank for a term of five years and until
his successor has been appointed; and United States Alternate
Governor of the Asian Development Bank, vice Charles W. Robinson,
resigned.
Wat T. Cluverius IV, of Maryland, a Foreign Service Officer
of Class three, to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary
of the United States of America to the State of Bahrain.
Edward E. Masters, of Ohio, a Foreign Service Officer of
Class one, to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary
of the United States of America to the People's Republic of
Bangladesh.
