Monteagle Stearns, of California, a Foreign Service Officer of
Class one, to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary
of the United States of America to the Republic of Ivory Coast.
Edward Aguirre, of California, to be Commissioner of
Education, vice Terrell H. Bell, resigned.
The following-named persons to be Members of the Board of
Directors of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting for terms
expiring March 26, 1982:
Charles W. Roll, Jr., of New Jersey, vice
Jack Wrather, term expired.
Paul M. Stevens, of Texas, vice
Thomas W. Moore, term expired.
George F. Murphy, Jr., of Maryland, to be a Member of
the Nuclear Regulatory Commission for a term expiring June 30, 1981,
