NOTICE TO THE PRESS
The President is planning to attend services at the Washington Cathedral
Sunday, December 5, 1976. Religious Heritage of America will be
holding a three-day pilgrimage to Washington December 4 to 6 for the
group's 26th Annual Awards Program and in celebration of the Bicentennial.
The purpose of the R.H.A. is "to preserve and celebrate the rich,
diverse religious heritage of America and through it strengthen and
enrich all aspects of American life. 11
On December 5 the forty-eight participants in the pilgrimage will be
attending the service at Washington Cathedral. Secretary Kleppe,
a member of R.H.A., will assist in conducting the normal Sunday
service.
The press pool should assemble at 10:15 a.m. in the press room.
