CERTAINLY ESTABLISHMENT OF "REPUBLIC OF TAIWAN" IS ULTIMATE IDEAL OF ALMOST ALL POLITICALLY CN- SCIOUS TAIWANESE ON THIS ISLAND, YET THERE ARE A GRET NUMBER OF FACTORS WHICH WILL CONTINUE TO INHIBIT CCK FROM TAKING SO RADICAL AND DRAMATIC A STEP.
