As approved by the President on June 28, 2002, National Security Presidential Directive 15
(NSPD-15) has initiated a review of national space transportation policies, led by the National
Security Council.
As part of this review, we would like to invite you to a U.S. industry briefing of the ongoing
space transportation policy review on January 8, 2003 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. in the MacCracken
Room (1010) on the 10th floor of Federal Aviation Administration Headquarters, 800
Independence Avenue, Washington, D.C. The briefing will be given by Gil Klinger, NSC
Director for Space Policy, and Brett Alexander, Senior Policy Analyst at the Office of Science
and Technology Policy. Following the briefing, attendees will be allowed 5 business days to
provide any comments on the policy.
