The Secretary of the Interior.
Sir:
In reply to your inquiry reference to the efficiency of
Pension Agent Cyrus Leland of Topeka, Kansas, I have the honor to
state that Mr. Leland has kept his business up very satisfactorily
and has a very competent, good organization.
His Agency is the largest in the United States, paying about
115,000 pensioners four times each year.
