June 21, 1904.
My dear Mr. Secretary:
I am directed by the President to state that he
desires no action taken concerning the leases in
Yellowstone Park affecting the hotel and transpor-
tation company without first consulting him. When
the matter is taken up he desires me to lay certain
memoranda before him which I have on file.
