My dear Mr. Secretary:
By direction of the President I send you the enclosed
letter from Mr. . Sherrard Coleman of Fort Leavenworth,
Kansas, who desires to have his father appointed Super-
visor of the Pecos River Forest Reserve.
The President would be glad to be advised as to
whether this appointment can be made or not.
