My dear Secretary Hitchcock: I received your message over the telephone and agree with you that it would not be well and would serve no useful service to send in the Keep Commit- tee's report upon the adminsitration of the Interior Department. I shall write Senator Warren accordingly, and if necessary shall send a message to Congress stat- ing that I do not think it in the public interest to submit the report.
