My dear Sir:-
I have heard very excellend reports concerning
the character and standing of Mr. Bush, a colored man
who is at present in the Tand Office at Little Rock,
Arkansas, as Register, or Receiver of Public Moneys.
Judging from what I hear I do not believe you will
make any mistake in reappointing him. Of course I
do not know in what condition his office is.
