25 2 laga States Senate, WASHINGTON,D.C. April 24, 1902. My dear Mr. President: Dr. Magruder has just called upon me, with your letter, and we have gone over the matter of the appoint- ment to be made on the Board of Visitors to the St. Elizabeth Insane Ssylum. I regret that Dr. Sellhausen does not seem to meet with the favor of the medical profession in the Distric for this place, and, in view of this, I have expressed my willingness to withdraw my endorsement of him, in favor of Dr. Magruder. I acquiesce in this, and should be glad if you would send in Dr. Magruder's name for the appointment. Faithfully yours, T.Cream To the President. Dr. Magruder' S address is, Dr. G. L. Magruder, 815 Vermont Avenue, Washington, D. C. Dr. Magruder has signified his willingness to accept.
