Harry Truman, on Sat- git urday afternoon at four o'clock, at St Trinity Episcopal Church. Miss Wal- 1- E. lace has lived in Independence all her life and has a large circle of friends. St Independence also claims Capt. Tru- SC. a M man although he has spent much time le away. It was in this setting of love wl and devoted friendship that the mar- ing riage was solemnized. The church ter was beautifully decorated with garden U1 flowers in pastel shades. The altar was a mass of daisies, pink hollyhocks Ev 9 and pale blue lark sput against a solt no g green back ground, lighted with tall cathedral candles. ill The service was read by the Rever- end John V. Plunkett, Rector of Trin- en S. ity.
