Matthew A. Foster Will Marry
Mrs. Nancy Cary Mehl.
Matthew A. Foster, former presi-
dent of the park board and police
commissioner, and Mrs. Nancy Cary
Mehl, secretary to Mayor Bryce B.
Smith, will be married around
Thanksgiving, they informed friends
late yesterday. The ceremony will be
performed at a country home near
Grandview where they will make
their home.
Mrs. Mehl, who has been the
mayor's secretary eight years, yester
day tendered her resignation, ef-
fective November 15.
