Dear Ethel:
You don't know how very much I appreciated
your good letter of January fourteenth, and I
am happy that you liked the family tree book.
It seemed to me to be very complete and it
will be something for the archives if you can
get it all filled in as it should be.
I saw "Henry V
.
You know we have a small
picture theater in The White House and when
Margaret is home we have two or three pictures
a week - that is the only way I ever get to see a
picture show. I was particularly struck with
your suggestion that the Ralph Truman in that
play is surely a descendant of the brewery branch
of the family. I judge that is on account of his
first name.
I want to apologize for not writing this letter by
hand. If I had forty-eight hours in the day, I
think, maybe I could get everything done that I
ought to do.
Sincerely yours,
Miss Ethel Noland
