Dear Sis:
Getting very business like, don't you think so?
In the first place I'm out of paper and typewriting is easier.
I was very glad to get your good letter yesterday but I can't
say
say that you are a very rapid correspondent.I thought I never was
going to get another letter from you. I am glad the "first in-
stallment" was good. You can be thankful that I didn't carry
out my original plan. The installment might have lasted a little
longer. I'll consider adding another batch when I come home. if
not sooner. School is out April 19th, and I think Mother is
planning to stay until then. She seems to be having a fine time.

either Everything is military around here now. Worse than a
military academy Drill from 4 to 5:30 every afternoon and from
1 to 4:30 on Saturday and two hours class room work besides.
Thats just about all we do around here now. Mack is commanding the
artillery unit here now, is a captain in the reserve but has the
the rank of colonel in the R. 0. T. C. Major B. is very much better
since golf weather came The infantry regiment had a review today.
in honor of the honomary colonel of the regiment, a Delta Gamma.
Mrs. Thornton had a tea for the Sig Alphs Sunday afternoon. Was
pretty good.
I'm in charge of study hall tonight so I'll have to see what
the freshmen are doing. Lots of love to all
Fred
