The following is an excerpt from a
letter the President wrote Harold Lockhart,
the Commissioner of Internal Revenue, Kansas City,
Mo. on April 26, 1952 -
"I had a letter from Helen Wallace, who is the
person you put on the payroll not long ago and I
wish you would try and arrange it so Helen can
be on the permanent list when this new arrangement
goes into effect."
