MEMORANDUM OF CONVERSATION WITH THE PRESIDENT
Item C. - Future MSP Appropriations
Upon his return from the White House, the Secretary
told me that he had spoken to the President about
Mr. Coolidge's memorandum of August 4 attached herewith.
The President has authorized Mr. Cabot to say this.
Mr. Cabot should also show Mr. Lawton of the Bureau of
the Budget what he intends to say. The Secretary also
suggests that Mr. Cabot straighten out Genral Bradley
on this problem to prevent further mistakes.
