Dear Stanley:
After Mr. Churchill's visit to Ottawa, I
received a most delightful letter from
Mike Pearson, giving me his impressions
of the visitors and telling me in his own
way some of the information which you so
nelpfully reported. I am enclosing an answer
which I should be glad to have you read. If
you see no objection to delivering it, would
you then seal it and deliver ?
I am glad that "The Happy Time" finally
reached its destination and hope that you and
Shirley get as much pleasure out of it as
Alice and I did.
Our love to you both.
As ever,
The Honorable
Stanley Woodward,
American Ambassador,
Ottawa.
