In the course of a conversation which the Secretary had
with Sir Oliver Franks this morning, the Ambassador said
that on the question of Egypt, the Secretary may have seen
that they had put in "on the whole" a very happy acceptance
of the Secretary's views. The Secretary said that this was
good news.
