CATIONAL
U.S. SERVICER
JUNE
Dear Miss Jaffint
Messrs. Fisher, Nitze, and Acheson will
arrive at Princeton Junction, Wednesday,
July 22, on The Patrict. However, they are
all planning to return to Washington (taking
the train from Trenton) on 6:32 (Daylight Time)
Thursday evening, instead of waiting over until
Friday morning to come down.
On the enclosed expense account for last
week, I have included an item for myself for
dinners and taxis from the end of the street
car line on the nights I have worked on getting
material together. It has been a jobl I think
I am more or less on top of it and can now keep
up, particularly in view of the recess they
are going to take in August. Mr. Acheson thought,
when I asked him, that this would be a proper
request to make. If for any reason it does not
come within the scope of the allowable reimbursements,
please don't hesitate to let me know.
(While writing this letter, I have had a
call from Mr. Nitze that he will be coming down
from New York and will not need transportation.)
How is the arm? I suppose that is a foolish
question and that it is uncomfortable and miserable.
I hope it has not interfered with some good vaca-
tion plans.
Sincerely,
Relations
