WASHINGTON
September 29, 1945
Dear Edgar:
I appreciated very much your
letters of the twenty-sixth and, of
course, I would much rather see the
Remington Plant operated than to have
it idle. I'll see what can be done in
the matter.
Sorry I didn't get to visit with
you longer while I was home but it seems
to me now that I have no chance to do any-
thing I want to do and that is a terrible
situation to get into.
Sincerely yours,
Honorable Edgar G. Hinde
