THE WHITE HOUSE WASHINGTON November 8, 1947 Dear Edgar: I was sure you would understand the situation in regard to Mr. Connell. I was glad to hear about the bond situation and I just wonder how it will work out. Unless they have somebody who knows what dollars are for to oversee the expenditures they will be in a lot of trouble.
