Dear Hinie:
One of the pleasures I had on my birth-
day was reading your interesting and kind letter
of congratulations. I am not unmindful of the
friendliness of your sentiments and, of course,
I am glad to have these comments from you con-
cerning the fact that I shall not be a candidate
for re-election.
Bess and Margie also thank you for your
good wishes for our happiness in the years ahead.
