SIGNALS FOR TANKS
(a) One yellow and one blue flag at same time - I am ditched, dig me out.
(b) One yellow flag - Broken down engine trouble. If either of above are seen
by infantry, send runner and report to supporting tanks.
(c) One rod pennant - Plato on Commander's tank,
(d) One red and white diagonal pennant - Company Commander's tank.
(e) One red and one yellow pennant - Tank signals to each other.
On observing the six white stars from the aeroplanes the inf antry will
stake out the line by means of their white panels, It is best to display these
in groups of three or four and wave them to attract attention, By night
or
in
whoded terrain a white Bengal flere takes the place of the panel. The aeroplane
will then fire a rocket of two white stars meaning "understoud"; panels are then
removed.
The cartridge of two red stars from the aeroplane calls for the dis-
play of the panel of the P.C.
Divisional Center for the receipt of visual signals is at M AMELON -
