I. THIRD LIBERTY LOAN BONDS
The caroful attention of all Personnel officers is directed
to G. O. 235, December 23rd, 1918, G.H.D. LeEF., requiring certain
data in connection with the Third Liberty Joon Bonds be furnishod
Jenuary 3lst, 1919. Prompt compliance therewith is directod.
II. ENTRANCE EXAMINATION TO U. S. MILITARY ACADEMY.
The attention of all orgonization commanders is directed
to the requirements of paragraph 4, Section I, G. O. 12, C.S.
G.H.Q., and to the following telegram in connection therewith:

A G 450, The following telegram repeated for your information
and necessary action: January 27th, 1919.
Commanding General
Second Army, Toul.
Number 3865 G-5. Reference paragraph two article one , C eneral
Orders twelvo, Genoral Headquarters, nineteen nineteen, the War
Department has ordered that members of the National Guard and
National Army who will have had one year service in the Army of
the United States on July thirteenth, nineteen nineteen, and who
possesses the O ther qualifications specified in General order
twelve G H Q, nineteen nineteen, are also eligible to take
entrance examination to the United States Military Academy. All
applications must reach these Headquartors on or before Februcry
eighth, 1919, in order to be considered. Davis unquote.

III. ISSUE OF WINTER CAPS AND OVERSHOES
1. Pursuant to telephone instructions this date from the
Chief Quertermaster, caps, winter, are discontinued as en issue
to all troops except those in the 3rd Army e
2. Per lettor dated Decembor 31st from the Chief Quarter-
master, overshoes, Artic, were eliminated from all equipments
manuals August 18th on authority of GHQ when present supply is
exhausted. Further distribution of the balance will be made at
the rate of 1900 pair per Division, to be issued to Chauffeurs,
Assistant Chauffours, Wagoners and Motorcyclists.
