Gentlemen:
In reply to yours of August 30th regarding the enclosed bill.
1 do not remember having received any such shipments from your
firm. This Exchange was closed up and all accounts settled
sometime in April, The books are not available now, and I can-
not check the bill up. It may be, however, that you have con-
fused our account with the 129th Infaitry or with the 129th
Machine Our Battallion, as this was frequently done while we
were stationed at Comp Deniphan.
our accounts were always checked in and promptly paid as long
as I was in charge of this exchange, and I am sure that you
have these ite S charged to the wrong account.
I turned this Exchange ever to Cap't. Chauncy Butterfield the
first of April. He is now in Kansas City and can probably
assist you in straightening out this account.
Yours very truly,
HST/K
Harry S. Truman
Cap't. 129th Field Artillery.
