Quiet, E nemy artillery activity slightly above normal in s/s DERAMEE.

ENEMY INFANTRY,
Very little evidence of activity. Decrease in usual intermittant machine
gun fire,

s/s DERAMEE. 170 Cal. 77 and 14 Cal. 150 on REUNIS and vicinity,

from U-47.08 to U-69,08. Horse and cart seen at point U-71,11.

Small working party seen at point U-54,23 during afternoon.

ENEMY AERONAUTICS.
Nine enemy planes reported over our lines during day,
IX.
MISCELLANEOUS, One patrol from s/s TAVANNES reports having encountered sneezing gas
in front of C.R. DAMLOUP. One of our aeroplanes in passing over Bois de FRESNES and
Bois ville en WOEVRE was fired on by large number of enemy machine guns in that
vicinity. Usual smokes and flares. At 19:35h signal projector seen in vicinity of
Ville en WOEVRE.
