SIGNALS FOR TANKS
(a) One yellow and one blue flag at same time - I am ditched, dig me out.
(b) One yellow flag - Broken down engine trouble, If either of above are seen
by infantry, send runner and report to supporting tanks.
(c) One red pennant - Platoon Commander's tank.
(d) One red and white diagonal pennant - Company Commarder's tank.
(e) One red and one yellow pennant - Tank signals to each other.
On observing the six white stars from the aeroplanes the infantry will
stake out the line by means of their white panels, It is best to display these
in groups of three or four and wave them to attract attention, By night or in
whoded terrain a white Bengal flere takes the place of the panel. The aeroplane
will then fire a rocket of two white stars meaning "understoud"; panels are then
