MEMORANDUM FOR THE JOINT CHIEFS OF STAFF
Returned herewith is the original of your memorandum
to the Secretary of Defense, dated 28 June 1950, regarding
proposals of the Chief of Naval Operations.
You will note that this has been approved by the
Secretary of Defense.
A copy of this memorandum has been sent to the
President by the Secretary of Defense.
