THE WHITE HOUSE WASHINGTON June 9, 1952 Dear Martha Ann: I appreciated very much your note of the first. I am glad that Dean Moreau told you that he is not a died in the wool Republican. I think eventually we will be able to convince the people of Kansas that they do not belong with the old abolitionists from whom they had their political ideas. I am s ending you a set of the United States Code just as soon as I can get it ready. I had a nice visit with your mother and Dorothy and had my first view of the new neice.
