Dear Martha Ann:
I appreciate very much yours of the 13th, and I
certainly wish that I could be with you for the dinner
on the Sunday before Thanksgiving.
Nothing in the world would please me more but I
haven't been able to get around very much, as you
know, and it won't be possible for me to be present,
much to my regret.
