DANIEL FRANCIS CLANCY
March 28, 1951.
Dear Miss Fleeson:
I am wondering if you would be interested
in having a statement from me, as head of the National
Committee Against Limiting the Presidency, concerning
ratification of the 22nd Amendment
Some quotable comment along with information
on the committee which opposed the amendment might be of
use to you for a column. I think we were the only organized
opposition to the amendment.
Sincerely,
along
Daniel Francis Clancy

I faar its too late ! But
I also fatier the amendment
represented an attack on the
people's power of choice.
