Dear Harry ;
Thank you so much for the memo from the
White House. The children who have seen it have
thrilled at looking at it, especially the nail. The 18th
Century meant nothing to them, but when I spoke
of Washington's time, then They were able to appreciate
it move.
Ishall take it to our one daily, The Glendale
news Press one of these days S. I think it would
make a good feature article.
Thanks again. I know Washington must be
lovely at this time of the year. may, of course, is
our pretticit month. hills are can arpeted in those
lovely shades of queen, with natures' own touch of
color; she is trying to out do her self in loveliness
this year. Only seeing is believing you ought to
5
bring your family out.
RECONDE
Harry H. Vaughan "m"
Sincerely yours,
Winona Memitt
