My dear Miss Cummings:
The letter which you and Bobby Cayce

sent the President has been received. I am
sorry he is so busy that it is impossible for
him to comply with the innumerable requests for
statements of the kind you desire. In lieu of
this, however, I am very glad to send you the
enclosed copies of press releases embodying
some pertinent statements on the subject you
mention.
